Supporting refugees through war trauma requires both professional expertise and deep cultural understanding. Our therapeutic team has undergone intensive specialized training in evidence-based approaches specifically designed for working with war trauma and displacement. Each therapist receives ongoing supervision and support to ensure the highest quality of care for our clients.

Our Training Approach

Before joining our program, every therapist completes comprehensive knowledge update led by experienced trauma specialists. This intensive preparation includes:

Our foundational training program covers essential therapeutic approaches proven effective for war trauma, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy for trauma, crisis intervention techniques, and culturally sensitive care practices.

Through hands-on workshops and supervised practice, therapists develop practical skills for supporting refugees through online therapy.

Beyond initial training, our therapeutic team participates in regular professional development through:

  • Monthly supervision sessions with experienced trauma specialists

  • Monthly case consultation meetings where therapists share experiences and insights

  • Regular seminars on emerging research in trauma treatment

  • Cultural competency training focused on Ukrainian context
